很有童話世界的感覺，很俏皮的口吻，讓我想到愛瑞，想到他與芬在雪地中玩耍，所以我寫了Winter Wonderland；拉斯維加斯是一個遊樂園，不過還是沒有雪！
 

 

 

 

 

2. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Bing Crosby唱歌，嗓子真一點也不費力！這首歌裡的故事，就是芬陪鄰居小鬼看的卡通，很好看，是那種每一格移動一點點的木偶卡通，我小時候連著每年聖誕節都看。愛瑞在Velvet Goldmine扮小馴鹿，配的一定就是這首歌。

選了紅鼻子馴鹿，就不能不選雪人啦，而且愛瑞應該會喜歡這首歌。Nat King Cole的風格與嗓音唱這個很合適。

除了倒數第二行，這首歌詞的you跟I是可以互換的，視演唱者的身份。
瑞文戴爾事務所的配樂CD, 最近我在第二版的時候，把這首加了進去。很多老歌裏的細節、意象，讓人印象深刻，一聽就記住了，所以我在編故事的時候，不自覺就寫進去，讓故事裡的人物借用一下。男歌手Frank Sinatra唱這首歌最有名，但是我喜歡Billie Holiday在專輯「Lady in Satin」裏面的錄音，幽幽的甜蜜裏面其實是有點滄桑的。

為了襯托Velvet Goldmine夜總會的氣氛，從這首開始，我一共選用了三首英國70年代樂團Roxy Music的歌曲，作者與演唱都是他們的主唱Bryan Ferry。這當然是電影給我的靈感啦，不過我本來就是Roxy Music的歌迷，已經聽了超過二十年囉，這次真高興能用上他們的音樂。這個樂團最讓我百聽不厭的是那種揉合新潮與30-40年代復古的感覺，有點荒謬，有點滑稽，有點優雅，有點故做姿態，不過最多的是老練世故（sophistication）。我最喜歡他們的第一張專輯及第三張。這首歌名<2 H.B.>就是「To Humphrey Bogart」的意思，獻給好萊塢老牌男演員Humphrey Bogart。
