店員︰不好意思，先生。請等一下。
Customer : What? What's the problem?
顧客︰怎麼了？有什麼事嗎？
Clerk：I saw you put a book inside your jacket. I'll have to ask you to pay for it at the counter before you leave.
店員︰我看見您將一本書放進您的夾克。我得請您離開前先到櫃檯結帳。
Customer : What? What book? What are you talking about?
顧客︰什麼？什麼書？你在說什麼？
Clerk：Please, sir. We don't want any trouble. Please pay for the book or I will have to call the police.
店員︰麻煩您，先生。我們不想找麻煩。麻煩您付這本書的錢，不然我就要報警了。

我們不想找麻煩。麻煩您付這本書的錢，不然我就要報警了。
店員若撞見有偷竊嫌疑卻尚未走出店門的顧客，先以委婉的方式勸告；若顧客有明顯偷竊行為，店員可用直接而嚴厲的口吻警告對方，讓小偷知難而退。
．see + 受詞 + 原形動詞∕現在分詞∕過去分詞
表「看」（see, watch, look at）、「聽」（hear, listen to）、「感覺」（feel）的知覺動詞加受詞後，可接原形動詞作受詞補語，表已發生的事實；或接現在分詞作受詞補語，表進行的狀態；亦可接過去分詞作受詞補語，表被動的概念。
例: Andy is looking at his daughter playing with the puppy.
（安迪正看著他的女兒在跟小狗玩耍。）

catch + 人 + 現在分詞　　當場抓住某人正在……
例: The shoplifter was caught putting a CD into his bag.
（這名商店扒手當場被逮到將一張CD放進他的包包裡。）
