住屋顏色可反映收入高低

    據《印度時報》近日報道，英國最近一項調查發現，房屋顏色竟然能反映出主人的收入高低。把房屋塗成藍色的人事業最成功，塗成綠色的人收入最低。

　英國新迪士牆面漆公司對30000名屋主進行的調查顯示，藍色房屋的主人平均年收入都在38000英鎊左右。他們半數都是公司董事或經理一類的高管人員，多數人至少有三位下屬。

    他們每年能到國外度假兩次，而且至少已獲得兩次重要提升。他們開奧迪TT去上班，夫妻關係和睦，有一雙兒女、四位密友。他們當中14％的人會在招待客人時聘請專門的廚師，11％的人僱傭保潔工進行定期清潔，8％的人請保姆照顧孩子。

　新迪士公司發言人維多利亞－瓊斯表示，「房屋顏色和人的事業和家庭成功能聯繫起來真是一件讓人難以置信的事。這項調查表明，人們裝飾裝修房屋的方式也能體現出他們在事業和家庭生活方面是否成功。」

　這項調查還發現，把房屋塗成綠色的人收入最低，年薪平均13000英鎊。他們大多高中畢業就參加工作，從事商品零售或批發業，開的是二手福特蒙迪歐或大眾高爾夫。

    以下則是調查發現的不同顏色房屋主人的收入情況：

　　紅色房屋的主人：年薪23,500英鎊

　　白色房屋的主人：年薪23,400英鎊

　　淺乳白或淺桃紅：年薪23,100英鎊

　　米黃色房屋主人：年薪20,800英鎊

　　橙色房屋的主人：年薪20,000英鎊

　　紫色房屋的主人：年薪19,600英鎊

　　灰色房屋的主人：年薪19,000英鎊

　　黃色房屋的主人：年薪18,500英鎊

　　褐色房屋的主人：年薪18,400英鎊

　　粉色房屋的主人：年薪14,500英鎊

　　綠色房屋的主人：年薪13,100英鎊

People living in blue houses are more successful than those living in homes painted any other colour, according to a new survey.

The average professional living in a blue-painted house earns an impressive £38,000-a year and drives an Audi TT to work.

They take 27 days annual leave a year and treat themselves to at least two holidays abroad to exotic locations such as Barbados or the Maldives.

The poll, conducted by Sandtex Paints of 3,000 home owners, reveals that 23 per cent of people in blue houses have already worked their way up to Director level at work.

A further 31 per cent are proud to call themselves 'manager' or a job title of similar status.

And most of these professionals have at least three members of staff working beneath them.

Blue home owners will have already achieved two significant promotions to date in their high-flying career.

And if they haven't chosen the legal route, 11 per cent are likely to work in the health service or nine per cent in education.

In addition to maintaining a successful career, people living in a blue house even do well on a personal level.

The average blue homeowner is in a long-term relationship, has two children and four really close friends.

Fourteen per cent use some of their hard earned cash to pay for a cook to help out when guests are round, 11 per cent have a regular cleaner, and eight per cent have a nanny to help with the children.

Whilst a quarter of these people are so busy successfully managing a good career and family life, they always get outside help for DIY.

Victoria Jones, spokesperson for Sandtex Paints, said: "It is incredible to think that the colour of your house could have any bearing on how successful you are in your career or at home.

"This poll certainly demonstrates that people decorate their houses differently depending on how they are doing in their professional and personal life.''

In contrast, the poll reveals that people living in green houses are the worst off - earning just £13,100 annually.

Unfortunate, green home owners are likely to work in retail or wholesale, and drive around in a second hand Ford Mondeo or Volkswagen Golf.

The majority of people in green house have left school after completing their A-levels and 63 per cent admit they are nowhere near the top of their game.

But despite working in an 'unskilled' job, the average person in retail has achieve at least two promotions to date and enjoys 20 days holiday a year.

And although they are not particularly wealthy, green home owners still say they are quite happy with life, their family, and their relationships.

Sandtex spokesperson Victoria Jones added: ''It just goes to show that money isn't the be all and end all, sometimes happiness is defined by the people around you and the friends you make along the way.''
