Farewell Party
Time files. I can’t believe all of us are going to graduate this year. It seems like just yesterday that I was busy packaging for new life here in New York. Everything in the past was still clear in mind but now all of us have to pack up and leave again. One and half year could be long enough for completing a master degree but when it comes to the end do I realize that I haven’t been prepared to say goodbye. Still feel attached to life here. This is the first city we started our life together. This cozy little apartment with so many memories makes me reluctant to leave. Weren’t you, I wouldn’t have chance to experience a completely different life in this world-famous city. Staying up whole night for midterms and finals, shopping at Macy’s and outlets in Jersey, watching baseball game at Yankees stadium; life here in New York was full of surprise and fun. Last weekend, we had a farewell party at midtown. You said this might be the last time for us to have dinner with them. I felt kinda sad though. I guess it’s time to say goodbye now. Some of us may meet some day; some of us may never have chance to see each other in the future. No matter what, I do feel appreciated for meeting you guys though. Wish all of you the best luck in your future endeavors. Cheerio, guys.

要好好把握
It’s always hard to say goodbye, but after all, we got to face the ineluctable leaving all the time in life.
So that’s why I like the word ”cheerio”, which stands for both ”good luck” and ”good bye”.
Good luck to both of us.
