A Double Misdirected Chinese Valentine’s Day

I finished Harry Potter VI~ In the last half part of the book, the plot got more and more intriguing. I wish I could read much faster like one sight per page then~ =.=

I believe Severus Snape is innocent~ I am not going to say why here. Go get this worth reading novel~ I am not hired by the publisher to promote this book, by the way. : D

***

It was Chinese Valentine’s Day yesterday. She did not expect much from him. There was no sign that he was going to give her a Valentine’s gift or to celebrate it in a special way. He did not even know what day Valentine’s Day was until she mentioned that while watching TV. Anyway, he called to ask her out for dinner in the break between his first and second class. She agreed and said to see him in the restaurant where they were going to have dinner. She left home around the time he got out of his class and while she was waiting for the traffic light just right outside her place, he phoned to ask if she was on the way. She said yes and see him there soon. About five minutes she had waited for him in the restaurant, he called her again to say that he forgot something at home so he had to go home to get it and he would be late for 10-15 minutes. She said okay and did not doubt it at all since he is such a forgetful person. =_=

After he came, she found that he changed his shirt and even wore a tie as well.

”So, what did you forget?” she asked.
”Tie.” he smiled.
”You do not need a tie. You did not have to chenge your shirt, either. The shirt you put on for work today was fine. You do not have to dress formally.”
”Of course I do. I need to dress up for my girlfriend.” he grinned.
”What if I dressed casually with a T-shirt, shorts and slippers?” she joked.
”Wasn’t my choice right?” he was confident of his guess.
”Hei. I was thinking of what to put on. I thought about a strappy T-shirt with a skirt first but then nah. I did that quite often recently. So, I put on a dress instead.” she chuckled.
”What was that in your pocket? Andes chocolate?” she noticed that as soon as he turned up.
”Yep. Your Valentine’s present.”
”OK. Thank you.” replied her without much emotion shown.

She did not feel disappointed or anything since she did not expect anything from him. She thought they might go out to have dinner or see a movie together and that was it.

They had a joyful time at dinner. He was being silly with her while waiting for her to finish food since she is such a slow eater. - . -

”You are annoying~” she pretended.
”Isn’t that what you often do to me?” he questioned.
”Hahah. Like when you are playing a game or in the middle of something?” she felt funny.
”Isn’t it?” his eye-balls slyly rolled
”OK~ I will keep quite later on. I will not bother you while you are in the middle of something~” she claimed.
”Can you?” he doubted.
”I can~”
”Can you?” he was still strongly suspicious of that.
”Heng~ I can play with somebody else instead.” she grimaced.

The dinner ended up with their fun conversation.

He suggested that they go to Blockbuster to check if there was anything good to watch but it was past 12 A.M. She brought up going to cinema if he would like to see a movie. He was fine with that but had to use the bathroom so they were heading home first. As soon as the door swung open, she saw a bouquet of flowers right by her laptop on the table. Getting a close look at it, she found out that it was a bunch of artificial flowers decorated with several Ferrero Rocher chocolates and delicately wrapped.

”That was why you came hom first~” she beamed.
”Yep. I was planning to meet you when you were on the way to the restaurant and I was on the way back but you left earlier than I thought so I came home to put the flower here instead.” he explained.
”So, you changed your shirt and had a tie on to make it believeable?”
”Yep~” he was satisfied with her surprise.
”And you showed me Andes chocolate on purpose, right?”
”Hei hei. Right. To misdirect you.” he happily expressed his ”plot”.
”A double misdirection, huh?” she concluded. ”First, a tie and then a pack of Andes chocolate.
”Good, huh?” he was pleased.
