Don’t Fall

Men, don’t fall.
Because you have no idea what you are falling for.

You meet me for the first time and you like what you see.
You think you know, you say you understand.
You close your eyes and surround yourself in the bright light.
The glorious white light that I radiate blinds your eyes with splendor, with false impression, with harmonious lullaby singing in your ears.

Hold on, just wait and see.
I told you to be careful so listen closely.
What you don’t see is the darkness behind it.

There are tangled thorns waiting to confuse you.
There are sharp splinters waiting to hurt you.
There are sneaky ghosts waiting to haunt you.
No one has yet to escape and no one has yet to conquer the labyrinth.

Men, be fair.
If you want me, you got to take it all.
If you love my glow, you have got to learn the opposite side of me.
Don’t pretend like you know everything because you haven’t been to hell.

So don’t fall if you have not the heart to handle it.
