日本搖滾樂團「人間椅子」是由和嶋慎治（吉他）與鈴木研一（貝斯）及鼓手三人所組成。其中和嶋與鈴木均出身於青森縣，從初中時就已認識，開始互借唱片等交流，高中時因就讀同一所高中而開始一起作曲，也在高中的文化祭上以「去死去死團」的團名表演硬式搖滾風的曲子。之後分別至東京就讀大學，而之間深厚的友誼並未中斷，就在大學即將畢業的某日，倆人在唱片行不期而遇，此時鈴木才剛接受面試被內定要去大公司「日立」上班，而和嶋則尚未謀到工作，鈴木卻說「和嶋，啊啊，還是別去上班，來搞樂團吧」！

樂團成立於1987年，至1989才更名為「人間椅子」。此團名來自於江戶川亂步的同名小說，後又被改編成電影，劇情說的是一個男人被女作家長期囚禁於在黑色椅子裡。兩人一起生活，甚至是相親相愛的，他們老是隔著椅子互相撫摸對方的軀體，是一個無比詭異的故事。

此曲為和嶋慎治所作，收錄於其樂團2019的專輯《新青年》中。歌名中的Scat，查翻譯是「擬聲唱法」，應該是唱出一些無意義的字來替代樂器聲，就好比在此曲中的Shabadabadia 等，但聽不出唱的像是什麼，算是一種「即興唱」吧！歌曲內容是在哀怨各種「天神」都不眷顧他，而最後則是企盼每個人的付出都能得到上天的回報。歌曲時間長了一些，但吉他的彈奏加上鈴木的造型，真的是超酷，也相當地令人震撼。
