老歌亂談(719)Everybody's Talkin'
此首《Everybody's Talkin'》是美國民謠歌手兼詞曲作家Fred Neil所寫及錄唱，並收錄在他1966所發行與藝名相同的專輯《Fred Neil》中，而問題是，並未造成什麼漣漪迴響。
Fred Neil
1968，美國歌手Harry Nilsson翻唱此曲，其版本被引用在1969由達斯汀霍夫曼和強沃特 ( 安潔莉娜裘莉的父親 ) 所主演的《Midnight Cowboy》( 台譯：午夜牛郎 ) 中，由於影片相當轟動 ( 獲得7項奧斯卡提名，得獎3項。)，也或許是影片故事和歌曲內容有些關連的呼應，故此曲雖非電影主題曲，卻讓大家印象深刻，並在告示牌熱門榜扶搖直上，達到了第6名。而Harry Nilsson也以此曲奪得了他的第一座葛萊美獎。
寫歌的Fred Neil，似乎對歌唱事業的名利看得很淡，並不熱衷於巡迴作秀，他的後半段人生，就如同歌中所說的 ---「I'm going where the sun keeps shining，Through the pouring rain」，在70年代初期就回到了他的原居地 ─ 邁阿米的Coconut Grove，雖仍偶有演唱，但主要為致力於對海豚的保護。2001年死於皮膚癌，享年65歲。
由歌詞看來，歌曲的主角正處於困境 ( 包含感情 )，旁人則在背後議論及看衰他，不過他個人的心態倒是滿正面的，對未來仍懷抱著美好的憧憬，算是首自我療癒的歌吧！
