老歌亂談(442)Bus Stop
「公車邂逅」或「雨傘情緣」是早期的愛情小說中常喜歡用的「梗」，而這首《Bus Stop》將此兩種場景融合在一起，似更增添了一份浪漫。
此曲為英國樂團The Hollies於1966推出的單曲，在英國單曲排行榜達到了第5名，同時也是該團第一首打進美國排行的熱門曲 ( 也是No.5 )。吉他手Graham Nash在回顧訪談中提到：這絕對是我喜歡的一首歌，因當時只花了一小時又15分就錄製完成，而且成為了大熱門曲。
寫歌的Graham Gouldman當時只有16歲，後來成為樂團10cc的成員。由於曾寫出多首的暢銷曲，像是Herman's Hermits的《No Milk Today》、The Yardbrids的《For Your Love》等，也是知名的詞曲作家。
有人以歌詞中的「Please share my umbrella」，而想成這是一首關於嗑藥的歌，實在是太瞎了一些。時至今日，雨傘仍是可以傳遞溫情的媒介工具，也還常會出現在各類廣告中。

從小雨傘到分房睡真的寫實. 昨天凝觀 ~年代向錢看~ 討論劉家昌 甄珍的事有提到谷名倫. 日前查 B B King 同時看到 Ben E. King & Lesley Gore也都前後去世. (老歌亂彈 七十七 Ben E. King) 是否有 Lesley Gore的文章? 謝謝!
她的招牌歌《It's My Party》是有熟，但基本上不是我的菜，或許以後來貼^^
另首《You Don't Own Me》，就印象模糊了
看資料，Lesley Gore 2005出櫃，承認自己是Lesbian
美女的性向，有時真的很難從外表看得出來^^
