堤辰佳表示：「火腿隊的陽岱鋼明年開始，將會成為巨人隊的陽岱鋼，我們也很期待他活躍的表現。」
陽岱鋼表示：「我是巨人軍的陽岱鋼，我也很期待成為巨人軍的一員，希望明年也能有好的成績。」
19號結束後，巨人隊球團也希望陽岱鋼能夠在台灣開記者會，他也順利爭取到，他認為這是很大的鼓勵，很榮幸。
