[Film] The Queen 英女皇
1. 故事以Princess Diana 的車禍作背景去描寫英女皇。 當中穿插了不少當年的新聞片段和影象，所以感覺很真實，像是一齣semi-documentary！
2. 電影的“形式和方向”是出乎我所料的。 除了片初有點誇張地表現出Cherie(Tony Blair’s wife)的粗魯外，我覺得導演是持平的，沒有刻意找誰作笑柄，沒有要抹黑誰，也沒有刻意煽情。
3. 看完此片時我真的挺同情女皇的處境：她的家事也就成為國事，並且受到國際關注。 她有無限的權威，但卻沒有太多的自由。 她不可以隨著自己的心意去做，也不能對外完全表達自己的感受，甚至要因應人民的“合理期望”而作出相對配合，噢，很可憐！
4. Tony Blair真的是那麼support女皇的嗎？這個我真的沒有注意到。只知道他近年與Bush的合作太緊密了～～
5. 看雜誌的影評說，片中多次強調女皇熟悉機件維修，像在故意讓人想到Princess Diana 的車禍可能跟女皇有關； 這個嘛，我真的沒有這種“陰謀論”的想法，我反而覺得這特顯出女皇本身是一位獨立堅強的女性，而且又經歷過戰爭，她的情感表達不會像一個stereotype的女性那樣。 不過，這卻讓人認為她冷酷無情～～
6. 我倒是沒有完全明白當女皇的車壞了，她坐在河邊等“救兵”時看見那隻野鹿的一幕的exact meaning 是甚麼？ 沒看懂喔～～
7. And,我不能明白，難道是真的嗎？英國Prime Minister的官邸真的是如此小？Right next to the TV and Sofa就是餐桌和廚房！
8. Helen Mirren（The Oscar07 Best Actress）的演出真的很精采！ 我想，沒有很多人真的接觸過或認識英女皇。 大概女皇也沒有親自為這齣電影當顧問吧！ 對於她的生活和想法，都全賴演員去詮摩。 Helen Mirren的表現很自然，活像是一位真的女皇！
9. 雖然我大概也知道現實就是這樣，但是再一次呈現眼前仍是帶來無奈： 叫人拜服的不是一個人的才華和能幹，而是那人的做Show技巧和寫煽情文章的能力～～ 唉～～
10. 又是一套說British English的電影！！ ^0^ 雖然也包括了不同地區的口音。 （And 女皇跟Prince Charles的口音好像很不同呢！！奇怪！）我也終於知道”funeral” 和“burial”這兩個字的正確讀音！！
就只有這些points~~
Eventually I saw the film. You know what sort of a question came to my mind after finishing the film? I wonder if there is any screenwriter would come up with an idea to tell the untold story of Prince Charles! He is the only one in both the film and in reality being described as a jerk!
As for the scene on the river side, I think it was to make you feel the human side of the Queen -- While alone she showed her emotion, thinking about something she felt unhappy about and cried. Then suddenly she was amazed when she saw the stag. She knew this stag was being chased after by hunters, she wasn`t as apathetic as her husband. She was amazed how beautiful it was but she understands she couldn`t do anything further for the stag, e.g. stopping other people to go after the stag. Is it a metaphor? She was in sympathy with Diana to certain extent, Diana was a good mother afterall, but she just couldn`t do something further about it.
Yes, the story from the angle of Prince Charles remains untold!! hahaa.... Recently I read an article abt the PRince, the author, who met the Prince ina number of occasions, said that the Prince is a knowledgable and humorous gentleman. Maybe some screenwriter shall show us the real Prince!
