My Class
My Class
We all know that every class has its own unique traits. Some are extremely cooperative, some can respond to the teacher in unison, and others have very diligent students. I think my class is quite extraordinary because there are some things that other classes just don’t have.
Many people claim that our class is no different from a noisy zoo, and I can’t disagree with that anymore than I can hold my breath for one hour. There is a variety of animals and creatures in our class. There are two bears with loud voices, a cow, a strawberry, a fat and bile that always sticks together, an artistic sheep, and a humourous sponge. We like to create nicknames that involve animals. These “creatures” tend to make our lessons more interesting.
However, that isn’t the only reason why I think our class is similar to a zoo. If you walk by our classroom at recess, the first thing you might think of is that there is probably a party in the jungle with crazy animals. Sometimes it can get pretty clamourous. We like to shout and chase each other like kindergarteners. Although we make such a big racket, it’s quite amusing even if you watch from the side. Away from all the noise, there is a group of people who loves math. These intelligent people love solving difficult, complicated math questions. They always discuss mathematics during the break. I just don’t fathom why arithmetic can be so interesting.
If our little “party” got carried away, sometimes a humungous thunderstorm would come in and ruin the party. “Everyone, be quiet!” our teacher would say when he comes in. and we would all spontaneously become as silent as the sound of a cat’s paw on the soft smooth sand. The thunderstorm would last for a while with an occasional thunder and lightning. But all would be well again when the storm clouds slowly drift away along with the wind.
So you see, this is the way our class is everyday from Monday to Friday. Sometimes it’s a sunny, cloudless day, but other times it’s rainy and dark. You may think our class is a bit crazy or peculiar, but I think we have a wonderful class. It’s good to be carefree sometimes. I wouldn’t trade my class with any other class there is.
