1. Teaninich 10yo 43%
Side A
C: light yellow,邊緣帶一點黃綠
22 N: fresh and clean vanilla, white chocolate, fragrance, followed by a little honey, white flower, then apricot, lemon cake, green apple peer, complexes and elegant, degraded fast w/ some medicine, 一點麥騷味
20 T: light, some lime, liquorices, a little spicy, bitter, few variant at the end
20 B: balanced, especially for nosing, easy to drink, no stress!
2. Teaninich 1981 16yo 46% First Cask Bot. late 1990
Mix Side A&B Early
C: light yellow, water
19 N: very clean, malty, liquorices, cookie, cream cake, follow by some vanilla, sweet grass, ice cream
19 T: light, creamy, vanilla, a little dry, spicy, ginger, liquorices, salty
19 B: some kind of, few complexes, refill sherry?
3. Teaninich 17yo 58.3%
Side B
C: light yellow
22 N: 香氣剛開始悶悶的完全出不來,慢慢的有些許powder, flower, honey, vanilla, green mango, green apple peer, follow by some liquorices, lime, pepper, ginger, grassy, slightly peat
20 T: light, dry, spicy, vanilla, a little salty, peaty, sherry, bitter, oil, then some mint and apricot
20 B: balanced. Refill, beautiful light sherry
4. Teaninich 1983 22yo 59.4% Signatory C#8072 466Bts Refilled Butt Bot. in 2006
Mix Side A&B late
C: light yellow
21 N: slightly sherry, fresh cream, vanilla, ice cream, a little plastics, green apple peer, lime, 7-up, then some powder, liquorices, spices, melon peer
20 T: light -> medium, a little dry and spicy, high alc, ginger, powder, medicine, a little bitter, salty, oil, elegant and smooth at the end
21 B: balanced, young and clean, active!
5. Teaninich 1972 27yo 64.2%
Mix Side A&B early
C: light amber
23 N: fresh and light sherry, fruity, melon peer, a little coconut, followed by some orange, plum, then some cream, cheese, bacon, a little smoke at the end
21 T: medium -> full, strong impact, rich, dry, spicy, creamy, pepper, ginger, high alc, very oil, liquorices, a little bitterness at the end
22 B: good balanced full matured! Active!
6. Teaninich 1973 23yo 57.1%
Mix Side A&B early
C: yellow,
23 N: light, fresh sherry, honey, liquorices, vanilla, fresh cream, followed by some melon peer, geen apple, peach, pear, much fruity, sweet, light but complexes. Then some ginger, apricot, flower. Very good layers
22 T: medium, a little dry, salty, bitter, prune juice, a little creamy, apricot, mint, very oil, then some ginger, liquorices
22 B: good balance both for nosing and tasting, the nosing still alive and variant
7. Teaninich 1979 21yo 43% Chieftain’s Choice Bot. +/- 2000
C: amber
21 N: elegant sherry, very beautiful and fresh, raisin, a little orange, followed by a little smoke, few variant at the end
21 T: medium, a little spicy at the middle of tongue, raisin, dry, round and smooth
21 B: good balanced. Long extension, but lack of variant, still expect..
8. Teaninich 1984 18yo 59% Dun Bheagan C#5946 642Bts Sherry Bot. in 2003
C: amber, red gold
22 N: light sherry, a little sulfur, plum, toffee, cinnamon, followed by some orange, dry plum, deep, clean and elegant, young and active
20 T: medium, dry, a little sulfur, prune juice, good impact, a little spicy and bitter, some chocolate, caramel in the middle of tongue
20 B: balanced. Especially for nosing, smooth and elegant
真的是一生難得的機會,一次品飲到這麼多支這家這麼冷門的酒廠,先謝過David大哥! 基本上我覺得這次的酒款調性相當一致,可以喝得出來大多是refill sherry. 至於今天喝的酒中,酒廠本身較早期的製程區Side A(已剷平關閉)及後來的Side B前後期混合的都有,也是另一有趣的話題.我個人覺得差異性並不大,不容易喝得出來,但感覺雪莉的比重有些許不同,早期混合Side A和B的雪莉較重.不知道是不是後來Side B是使用用過較多次的refill butt,因此味道沒Side A重? 另外Side A沒什麼鹹味,可能Side B比例較多,也會出現較明顯的鹹味.
