社團五月份Rosebank品酒會

 

1. Rosebank 12yo 43% Flora & Fauna

C: light yellow

21 N: vanilla, honey, malty w/ spicy ginger, some Spyside style? Ollowed by a little grain, cookie, fresh cream

20 T: light body, vanilla, ginger. Then some white pepper, fresh cream, a little milk like, peach peer

20 F: short, ginger, pepper, vanilla, aroma degrade fast

20 B: balanced, elegant, easy to drink, but lack of complexes

 

2. Rosebank 16yo 1991/2007 53.9% Speciality Drinks Ltd. Bourbon barrel C#3402 179Bts

C: light yellow

22 N: honey, deep vanilla, a little toffee, white tropical fruit, grapefruit. A little sour, end w/ some apricot, powder, lemon cake

22 T: light -> medium, a little dry, spicy, strong, round and young. Diversity, a little candy, coconut, full of texture, oil lemon pie

22 F: long, fruity end w/ endless variation, bitter, powder, malty, cream, Camembert cheese

22 B: good balanced, full of aroma, few complexes at the end for tasting, still a good bottle

 

3. Rosebank 1990/2006 61.1% G&M Refill Sherry Butt C#1605~1606

C: light yellow

22 N: beautiful light sherry, crème brûlée, toffee, some chocolate, a little citrus, grapefruit, 後有一點腐敗的木頭味?

22 T: medium, dry, strong and young, some rum, lime, diverse to tangerine, crème, waxy

22 F: long, fruity, lime, grapefruit, chocolate, but w/ some strange oil comes up. Finished w/ some liquorices in mouth

21 B: balanced. full of texture for tasting. Few complexes and extension for nosing

 

4. Rosebank 20yo 1981/2002 62.3% UD Rare Malts B#3925

C: light amber

22 N: malty, toffee, a little raisin, elegant light sherry, fresh vanilla, clean, perfume,香氣相當清爽

21 T: medium, spicy, fresh grass, a little pepper, ginger, vanilla, then some bitterness, salty

20 F: long, some sour milk, cream, ginger, vanilla, plum. some strange oil comes up. But short for tasting, disappear quickly

20 B: balanced, but end w/ less complexes. Still grass, vanilla..

 

5. Rosebank 25yo 1981/2007 61.4% OB 4710Bts

C: amber

22 N: apple peer, peach, fresh vanilla, cream cheese, then some spices, alc, followed by a little mint, lime, grassy, fragrance, then a little fresh wood, cask, prune,紅棗

22 T: medium -> full, pine apple, vanilla, cream, very oil, a little ginger, white chocolate, bitterness, strong impact, diversity

22 F: medium -> long, some melon sweetness, apple peer, vanilla,一點柚木,尾韻有一股花香從喉嚨竄出,令人訝異

22 B: good balanced, both for nosing and tasting,相當清爽細緻的一支酒

 

6. Rosebank 30yo 1974/2004 55.8% DL for The Whisky Fair 212Bts

C: deep amber, red gold

23 N: fresh sherry,蜜棗, melon, cherry, very fruity, deep fragrance, followed by a little raisin, walnut, fresh wood cask, then some cream and crème brûlée, cinnamon

22 T: full, tropical fruit, round and rich, but still elegant and texture, warm, oil, very fruity. a little bitterness, end w/ some chocolate, caramel, cocktail fruit,

21 F: medium, sherry, fresh plum, full aromas, tangerine, raisin,蜜棗, cinnamon, end w/ some chocolate. Few variant at the end

22 B: good balanced, complexes of nosing whilst the tasting is quite easy and comfortable. Enjoyable!

7. Rosebank 17yo 1989/2006 55.3% MM Mission Gold 950Bts

C: amber

19 N: a little sulfur, raisin, pitch, some honey, sherry

17 T: medium, round and rich, some smoke and matchbox in the mouth

17 F: long, like Gorda cask, a little bitterness comes up from root of tongue, sulfur

19 B: some kind of

 


 

8. Rosebank 16yo 1989 46% MM Mission V B#409/678 Bourbon

C: light yellow

19 N: fresh crème, vanilla, ginger, perfume

19 T: light, vanilla, green apple peer, some white pepper, ginger, a little bitterness, spicy

19 F: medium, finish w/ some vanilla, a little baked cookies, green apple, end w/ some sweetness

19 B: some kind of, lack of complexes


 

9. Rosebank 14yo 1990/2004 56.3% Blackadder B#77/148 C#225 Hogshead

C: light yellow

21 N: honey, vanilla, a little white pepper, candy, just like F&F CS version, but pure and fresh crèmes. Some ginger and powder after adding a little water

20 T: medium -> light, a little dry, young and strong, vanilla, a little ginger, flowers

20 F: medium, vanilla, honey, long extension for tasting. Candy, sweet

21 B: balanced both for nosing and tasting.

 


 

10. Rosebank 22yo 1981/2004 61.1% UD Rare Malts B#1722

C: amber

23 N: toffee, 2nd refill sherry? Honey, some tropical fruit, then a little thyme, tangerine, peach, pear, clean and elegant, a little musk, walnut, sweet, a little hint of mint

22 T: medium, a little spicy and dry, fruity, tropical tangerine, then a little lemon peer, then some ginger, pepper, orange peer, bitter

22 F: long,一點中藥洋蔘,但果味仍十分悠長, fruity, peach, walnut, bitter. 餘韻長帶些許ginger, orange peer

22 B: good balanced both for nosing and tasting, rich flavour, complexes, 清爽奔放,酒體紮實,之稱的力道頗強,相當不錯的一支低地Single Malt
