這首歌照我看應該是亂寫的，聽起來很美，但意思很雜亂。
主詞你我她也非常紊亂，像「你」就並非從頭到尾指向同一個，所以應該是將好幾件事湊在一起講。
這首歌講的是灰心的基督徒，曾經跌倒，曾經覺得與主同行，但現在卻變成感受不到神的同在，質疑神真的存在嗎？質疑神真的是慈愛良善的嗎？質疑基督徒所行的不是神的愛。
很多人冷淡到最後就離開了。即便是初代使徒彼得也有三次不認主，回頭當漁夫的經歷。
冷淡的心就像火一樣需要加燃料，需要被挑旺，若放著不管，它就會漸漸熄滅。
怎麼添加柴火？從數算恩典，讚美耶和華開始，專心看神為我們作了何等大的事，你就會知道神是何等的愛我們，是何等的真實。
讚美耶和華並不是像這首歌的作者只是在嘴巴上唱唱而已，你必須要用誠實的心靈，真心的讚美耶和華。
你若只是把它當歌唱，或當咒語念，那就是徒然無用的
