Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O, no! it is an ever-fix`ed mark,
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wand』ring bark,
Whose worth』s unknown, although his heighth be taken.
Love』s not Time』s fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle』s compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom: ──
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.


莫讓我向真摯心靈的結合
承認障礙。愛不是愛
若是遇有變節的機會就改變，
或是被強勢剝離就屈服：
哦，那不是愛！愛是堅定的烽火，
凝視著狂濤而不動搖；
愛是嚮導迷航船隻的明星，
高度可測，實價無量。
愛不受時光影響，即使紅唇粉頰
終會被歲月的鐮刀砍伐；
愛不隨分分秒秒、日日月月改變，
愛不畏時間磨鍊，直到末日盡頭。
如果有人可證明我所解不實，
我從未寫過，而無人曾真愛過。
