It’s been the third Xmas here at the 2020 (my apartment). I have three kind Christians whom also shared this condo. I enjoy being with them and our weekend guests. I have seen so many love stories beginning, developing, and ending at our place. I wonder how many more years I can stay as an observer. One day we will move out when either Ms. L or I get married. No one is certain about the date. When Amy stopped over Los Angeles and ran into me at the church, I was so happy to see her. She told me that she has experienced the same situations there in D.C. Many wonderful girls at her church cannot find a soul that match their hearts. Same here at our church. I wonderful if that’s the norm for the Chinese church such that lots of females tend to have seemly successful life and career,yet not being able to maintain or start a relationship. Is that true when a female adult is highly educated, she judges more and sees more, therefore less accessiable. Or is it because we spend so much time for our study and work that we do not have time focusing on other parts of our lifes. How and when did we lose the balance? Especially, many of my friends who are considered smart girls failed their relationships. I feel so sorry for them, yet I do know a smart girl may be more stubburn and tough that leads to the conflict with another sex. Or maybe they are just not with the right persons. No clues.
