Tips For Traveling Amidst The Coronavirus

Preparing for a vacation? Make sure your souvenirs don’t include coronavirus.

With the spread of the coronavirus hitting every continent and spreading across the United States people are wondering if it’s safe to travel. So, a travel writer at Forbes magazine sat down with a panel of doctors and posed some common concerns of people about to hit the road.

The same concerns apply to travel as being in any public space. So, avoid anyone who seems sick and constantly wash your hands. To protect yourself while flying, carry and use hand sanitizer with at least sixty percent alcohol. Then wipe down everything you can that isn’t cloth. This includes seats, trays and armrests.

Use products that say they can kill ninety-nine point nine percent of germs such as Lysol or Clorox. Bring your own food and drinks on board when you can, and if the attendant handling the in-flight services seems under the weather don’t take anything from them.

The same rules apply to your hotel room. Wipe things down and keep washing your hands. Your only other option is a staycation.
