與小王子再遇
第一本擁有的「小王子」(The Little Prince),
是一位好朋友送我的，
那年的我該還不到二十，
老實說，看不太懂，
但還是愛上了「小王子」，
愛上他簡單的畫像，
愛上他孤獨的身影，
愛上他的小星球，
愛上他一天四十四次的日落．．．
然而，看不太懂。
送書給我的朋友跟我年紀相若，
心中暗自驚嘆：他竟懂得為小王子感動耶？
最近，因為開始了一個閱讀會，
我提議大家看「小王子」，
因為它很經典，
也因為想找個理由讓自己認真地重讀一遍。
再看小王子，
不敢說完全懂了，
但至少真的受感動，
真的帶來了很多思考。
原來在成長的過程中，
我巳經歷了小王子的部份旅程.......

So the little prince tamed the fox. And when the hour of his departure drew near —
"Ah," said the fox, "I shall cry."
"It is your own fault," said the little prince. "I never wished you any sort of harm; but you wanted me to tame you..."
"Yes, that is so," said the fox.
"But now you are going to cry!" said the little prince.
"Yes, that is so," said the fox.
"Then it has done you no good at all!"
"It has done me good," said the fox, "because of the color of the wheat fields." And then he added: "Go and look again at the roses. You will understand now that yours is unique in all the world. Then come back to say goodbye to me, and I will make you a present of a secret."
The little prince went away, to look again at the roses.
"You are not at all like my rose," he said. "As yet you are nothing. No one has tamed you, and you have tamed no one. You are like my fox when I first knew him. He was only a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes. But I have made him my friend, and now he is unique in all the world."
And the roses were very much embarrassed.
"You are beautiful, but you are empty," he went on. "One could not die for you. To be sure, an ordinary passerby would think that my rose looked just like you — the rose that belongs to me. But in herself alone she is more important than all the hundreds of you other roses: because it is she that I have watered; because it is she that I have put under the glass globe; because it is she that I have sheltered behind the screen; because it is for her that I have killed the caterpillars (except the two or three that we saved to become butterflies); because it is she that I have listened to, when she grumbled, or boasted, or even sometimes when she said nothing. Because she is my rose."
"Ah," said the fox, "I shall cry."

"It is the time you have wasted for your rose that makes your rose so important."
"It is the time I have wasted for my rose — " said the little prince, so that he would be sure to remember.
"Men have forgotten this truth," said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible, forever, for what you have tamed. You are responsible for your rose..."
"I am responsible for my rose," the little prince repeated, so that he would be sure to remember.

想像自己是小王子的玫瑰
平凡自傲卻又脆弱不堪，
但有天，
我的 神卻前來把我“tamed“了，（很喜歡書中用tamed這個字，故不用中文的詮釋了）
然後，我看到了自己的獨一無二，
看到了自己的重要，
內心的不安漸漸消退。
想像自己是小王子，
也曾因不懂如何去愛而逃避，
因不明白為什麼仍要去愛而走遠，
然後，終於知道了，
原來自己之所以愛所愛的，
是因為自己擺上了心思灌溉，
讓所愛的變成了自己心的一塊，
變得與別不同，
變得值得去愛。
p/s.很想找來一幅只有小王子與他的玫瑰的圖片，可是找不著。
真失落，有點像一對經歷了許多的戀人，
分開了方發現沒有留下過一幅合照的無奈。
