做為她今年的耶誕節禮物。

「I like your words you have written about your mother even through she
has passed away. I am not going to forget them because they always echo
in my mind, when you say, "I think of my mother very often and I am so
proud of her, she is the best mother in the world, and I am sure that
she is proud of me, I am the best son in the world." This shows that
though your mother is gone, you are not shame of her because when she
was alive, she has made you a man of mens[1]. That is good realy[2].
My mother was happy when she heard your words and she told me that,
these are the important words to remember as long as I am alive.」
試譯如下：
「我喜歡你寫你母親的字句，雖然她已經過世了。我將不會忘記它們因為它們總是
在我的腦中迴響。當你說：『我常常想起我的母親，而且我好為她感到驕傲，她是
世上最棒的母親；而我確信她為我感到驕傲，我是世上最棒的兒子。』這表示雖然
你的母親已經走了，你並不為她感到遺憾因為當她在世的時候，她已經教育你[3]
成為人中之龍。這真的是不錯。
當我的母親看到你的文字，她好快樂，她告訴我說：
這些是我該一輩子記得的重要的話。」
媽，聖誕快樂。
