小鴨鵝是具有社交行為的動物，總是追隨著自己的母親，長大後的鴨鵝則是跟隨團隊裡面的領袖，較為活潑或是鴨霸者，亦步亦趨追隨其後，甚且模仿其行為，是令人窩心溫暖的動物！搶救小鴨鵝對於即將而來的母親節，更具有特殊意涵！

五月十日是母親節！佛教所謂的慈悲是來自於對父母的孝順，進而把一切眾生當作自己父母，佛教更是開示每位眾生都應報父母恩！於此殊勝之日，園區廣邀師兄姐發菩提願心，救渡深陷養殖場難以出離的母子羊，回向慈母報父母恩，並為全球仍為嚴峻的疫情祝禱！支持辦法請洽:

【To pray for epidemic: our sanctuary has rescued a batch of chicken, ducks, goose and doves】
【Mother's Day approaching: please support our rescue of goat mothers and babies on Sunday to pray for all mothers in the world】

We planned to save a batch of chicken and retiring doves. Out of expectation, we have also spotted and rescued some ducklings and goose in addition to the rescued chicken and doves, which were being kept next by a store selling poultry. These ducklings and little goose are fluffy and cute like toys that they successfully draw attention from many of our supporters in the sanctuary!

Ducklings and little goose are animals with frequent social behaviors. They always follow their mothers when they are young, and their leaders when they have grown up. Those with lively or strong characters will also follow their mother/leader closely, and even mimic their behaviors. It is truly heartwarming to witness the interactions between these lovely animals! The rescue of ducklings and little goose also brings a special meaning for the upcoming Mother's Day!

The 10th of May is Mother's Day! Compassion is to show filial piety to one's parents, and to extend compassion and treat all sentient beings as one's parents in Buddhism. All sentient beings should pay a debt of gratitude to parents as taught in Buddhism! We sincerely invite you to make the great Bodhi resolve* and vows to rescue goat mothers and babies trapped in rearing farm on the especially excellent day; and to pay a debt of gratitude to our mothers and fathers as well as pray for the worrying pandemic!

And aiding those suffering in the three paths below.
May those who see and hear of this
Bring forth the resolve for Bodhi
And when this life is over,
Be born together in the Land of Ultimate Bliss.
