shoeless, sandy evening down the unfamiliar
last whiff of salt-water freedom
skipping shells in the dead zone
with the ghost on your side
of the state borderline

and me with my ridiculous looking pierced nose?

這些問題看起來簡單
但作答過程中
我幾乎把家裡所有的專輯全都瀏覽一遍
效果很極端
有些舊時喜愛的歌曲
再怎樣重複播放也不會增進一丁點興趣
而某幾首暫時被遺忘的音樂
藉由復習又能很快體驗當時的感受
這份問卷害人不淺啊
我聽著歌
回憶搖滾年少

專輯就像學生時代的周記一樣
憑著各式各樣的旋律節奏依附對應的往事
月考周買的CD風格比較暴躁
放假前的專輯通常很歡樂
畢業典體前聽的曲調通常都幾近窒息

Down colorful hill就是在畢業前夕買的
這是red house painters第一張專輯
輕薄簡陋的紙殼包裝
歷經15個年頭
在細心保存下
它還是逐漸發黃老去
40分鐘6首歌曲
不研究歌詞都能由旋律線染上悲傷
最後一首Michael是我最鍾愛的一首歌
以現在的年紀欣賞更是帶著歲數的陰影

後半段的歌詞好容易浮起畫面
稚氣的臉龐和熾烈的陽光
高中失聯的摯友
已經好久沒再見到他了
雖然他是個壞孩子
但是曾經幫我擋下一支大過
滿了三支
他在畢業前被學校三振
暴躁的鼓手缺席
我們的粉紅毛衣解散
剩下的成員畢業後也失去聯絡
畢業前立志比賽
10年內看誰先在樂界闖出名號
15年
大家都挑戰失敗

現在想想
我不喜歡看channel V的男孩節目
可能是因為他們身上的粉紅色針織衫
站在台前
就好像當年為了耍帥的我們
無論多酷熱的天氣
上台一定要穿著制服
粉紅毛衣
就算已經熱到快要昏倒
表演結束後
一定要離開校園才肯換下吸滿汗水的毛衣

這樣的堅持就只有高中男孩做得到
因為他們(也曾是我們)身上富含青春的特質
而此刻感傷的理由
或許正是因為青春的水分正快速的流失
感謝年輕的我大把大把的將銀子往唱片行送
他留下許多紀念品
除了感嘆
我還是得到了青春的鼓勵及滋潤
