此曲為美國鄉村歌手Vince Gill與人所合寫，並由自己錄製作為1994專輯《When Love Finds You》的首發單曲。有樂評認為「歌曲寫的非常優美，演唱也無懈可擊」。成績也相當不錯，在告示牌鄉村榜拿下第2名。

Vince Gill非常擅長於鄉村抒情歌曲，替他冠上個「鄉村情歌王子」似也不為過。截至目前，Vince Gill共贏得過22座葛萊美獎，以男性歌手來說是排名第4，但在鄉村音樂界則是獨佔鰲頭，成就不凡。

1980，Vince Gill在洛杉磯認識了女子鄉村姊妹二人組「Sweetheart of the Rodeo ( 牛仔競技場的甜心 )」，並在1980娶了姊姊Janis Oliver，1982有了個女兒，1983二對夫妻 ( 與妹妹、妹夫 ) 一起赴Nashville打拼事業。1986，兩姊妹的歌唱事業開始起飛，而Vince Gill則直到1989才以一首《When I Call Your Name》打響名號，而也自此一路「紅火」。

人生就是這樣，當某天覺得自己是個somebody時，想法及行為或許就會改變。1993，Vince Gill初遇女歌手Amy Grant，想來就被「電」到了。當時Amy Grant是已婚狀態，而之後傳言Vince有去訪視Amy ( 雙方在交往？)。Amy Grant是位「福音歌手」，除了被讚揚對當代基督教流派的貢獻外，基督教社群對她的形象也有諸多爭議，認為她太過世俗 (worldly) 和性感 (sexy)。甚至對她離婚後再婚，也是「砲聲隆隆」。對於Vince來說，遇到Amy無疑是找到了「真愛」，但由於年紀 ( 原妻Janis較Vince大了3歲，Amy則較vince小3歲 )，又老婆的歌唱事業下滑，不免讓人有拋棄糟糠妻之感。Vince和Amy在2000年正式結婚，卻有消息人士透露，在1999 Vince的老婆訴請離婚之前，倆人早已先秘密結婚。
