此曲的原唱為美國黑人合唱團體The Orlons，1963作為另首歌曲的B面發行，而仍打進排行榜，獲得第55名。1964，英國樂團The Searchers翻唱此曲，竟然拿下了英國排行榜的冠軍 ( 在美國則為第16名 )。

The Searchers也是「英倫入侵」的成員之一，該樂團最為台灣歌友熟悉的歌曲，應該是1964翻唱The Clovers的《Love Potion No.9》，其他幾首較為知名的熱門曲，像是《Needles and Pins》、《When You Walk In The Room》等等，都唱得相當不錯，可惜也都是翻唱歌曲。

每個人對事物的看法、作法會有所不同。以舊衣來說，雖然再穿的機會極少，許多人仍捨不得丟棄，而有人則不然，不丟的結果當然是衣櫥爆滿。此曲針對夢想和感情，也有類似的想法，應該說是不要太現實，替自己留個後路。像情侶的分手若能理性、平和，誰又一定能保證日後不會想復合呢？
