老歌亂談(890) And Your Bird Can Sing
此曲原為披頭合唱團的Jhon Lennon所寫，但覺得並不是很好，由於該時期lennon手邊其他的歌不少，故差點要被揉進字紙簍裡去了。後Paul McCartney對歌詞提供了部份的意見，最後此曲的作者由倆人共同掛名，但McCartney坦承百分之八十的貢獻還是在Lennon。此曲收錄在披頭1966在英國發行的專輯《Revolevr》，在美國則是在另張專輯《Yesterday and Today》中。
此曲有點偏向於「趣味歌」。有一說是Jhon Lennon對於也是好友的滾石樂團主唱Mick Jaggar炫耀新交往的女友Marianne Faithfull，又漂亮又會唱什麼的，有點看不太下去，而寫此曲來對之吐嘈。Lennon何以會如此？或許是有先見之明吧！這也可從Marianne Faithfull後來的行為得到印證 ( Marianne外表看來清純可愛，但藥物成癮，可能也因而使得私生活紊亂，前後竟然和滾石的三位團員Brain、Mick及Keith都有交往關係，甚至沉迷毒品，後一度還淪為街友。)。

而此曲最令人稱道的是歌曲中由George Harrison和Paul McCartney的吉他雙重奏，在滾石雜誌100最佳吉他主奏中，評價排名第69。
