老歌亂談(824)Beautiful Sunday
此曲為英國流行歌手Daniel Boone與人所合寫，而由他自唱收錄在1972與歌曲同名的專輯《Beautiful Sunday》中。此曲當年在台灣是紅到不行，但看在各國排行榜的成績，只有在德國、紐西蘭、挪威及南非獲得冠軍，在美國告示牌熱門100排行榜僅為第42名，連在自己所屬的英國，也只得到第21名。
其實，Daniel Boone之前在英國也有首入榜熱門曲《Daddy Don't You Walk So Fast》 ( 1971 / UK # 17 )，不過，才隔年就被Wayne Newton的版本給幹掉了 ( US # 4 )，取代成為了最知名的版本。故大家真正記得Daniel Boone的歌，就只有這首《Beautiful Sunday》了，所以，Daniel Boone也被列為是「一曲歌王」。
此曲在全世界銷售超過2百萬張，也在1972獲「滾石音樂雜誌」頒予「Most Likeable Singer ( 最受喜歡的歌手？)」獎項。1976，Boone將此曲在日本重新發行，在日本的「Oricon單曲排行榜」獲得了冠軍，並在榜內停留了3個多月。此曲也一直是外國歌手在日本賣得最好的單曲。

這就是現今所謂的「洗腦神曲」吧！^^我最受不了的是過年的歌曲，像是《恭喜發財》、《新年到》……這些
