這首《I Can't Help Myself (Sugar Pie Honey Bunch)》是Motown ( 摩城唱片公司，其早期簽約的歌手及團體幾乎全是黑人。) 旗下的The Four Tops於1965所推出的歌曲，獲得告示牌熱門排行榜非連續性兩週的冠軍。← ( 它先是取代了同公司的女生團體The Supremes的《Back In My Arms Again》，但接著被英國樂團The Byrds的《Mr. Tambourine Man》打下，奪回冠軍寶座後又被英國樂團The Rolling Stones的《Satisfaction》擠下。) 此曲在英倫樂團大舉入侵強敵環伺的情況下，在告示牌1965全年度的排名仍勇奪第2，可見此曲當時受到大眾喜愛的程度。

Allmusic的樂評人Ed Hogan指稱，此曲使用了The Supremes1964的熱門曲《Where Did Our Love Go》相同的和弦，而這兩首歌的作者，都是Motown的三人寫歌團隊Holland-Dozier-Holland，一魚兩吃的便宜行事被抓包了。

「Sugar Pie Honey Bunch」可俗稱為「甜心寶貝」，「I Can't Help Myself」在此有「情不自禁」的意思。這是一首愛情自我宣告的歌，也是懷春少男少女憧憬愛情常會遇到的情況吧！

以下所貼為澳洲女歌手Jessica Mauboy的版本，她曾參與2012的電影《The Sapphires》( 台譯：閃亮女聲 ) 的演出，內容是關於四個澳大利亞原住民女孩的故事，此曲亦為影片中的插曲。
