老歌亂談(522)Blue Christmas
今天是西洋耶誕的平安夜，也不免俗的來貼首耶誕歌曲應個景。
這首《Blue Christmas》最早在1948年就已有人錄唱，隨後幾年也分別有幾個流行的版本，其中Ernest Tubb的鄉村曲風版還獲得了告示牌雜誌「播放次數記錄」的冠軍。貓王Elvis Presley是在1957翻唱此曲，但直到1964才另發行單曲，並以偏搖滾的曲風來作詮釋，而成為一首經典的節日歌曲。
2008，美國鄉村女歌手Martina McBride將貓王在1968的現場演唱影帶，以現代數位科技合成為雙人合唱曲，其擬真的程度，即使講明了是科技合成，恐怕還是有人會半信半疑。事實上，貓王在1968演唱此曲時，Martina McBride的年紀還不到兩歲。
一般稱耶誕節都是「White」，而沒有情人陪伴的耶誕節就成了「Blue Christmas」。如果你今夜感到Blue，沒關係，還有「老歌」在這裡陪各位渡過。呵呵呵！
