此首《Would You Lay With Me ( In a Field of Stone )》為美國鄉村女歌手Tanya Tucker於1973發行同名專輯的主打歌，單曲於1974奪得鄉村榜的榜首，也是Tanya Tucker第3首的鄉村冠軍曲。此曲也同時進入告示牌熱門榜 ( # 46 )，僅次於1975的《Lizzie and the Rainman》( # 37 )。
雖然Tanya Tucker在鄉村音樂界有其一定的地位和名聲，而一般人對其印象最深刻的，恐怕還是1980─1981和Glen Campball那段高調的緋聞戀情。雖然前後和兩個對象生下二女一子，而Tanya迄今未婚。

有人認為此曲內容只是單純男女祈願能長相廝守的情歌。也有人覺得可能是一方遭逢了重大的變故，希望在感情上另一半能和他/她繼續堅持走下去。還有人將之想成，非基督徒的愛人過世，祈求上帝能予以照拂和牽引.........。
