為了貼西洋歌曲，常會想到關於分類的問題，以Neil Young在1971的這首《Heart of gold》來說，是民謠？鄉村？還是搖滾？似乎都有點不像，而若一定要分，我認為或許是屬於「民謠搖滾」。各位覺得呢？

戴著口琴架邊吹邊彈邊唱，Neil Young應該是仿效Bob Dylan的，而台灣歌手吳楚楚當年也同樣依此方式上電視演唱此首歌曲，算是開了台灣歌手以口琴架演唱方式的先河。不過，吳唱此首歌的味道就稍差了些。

初見Neil Young唱歌時躬著背的模樣，還在想說這傢伙怎麼這麼酷？後來看資料說他有肌肉疼痛的毛病（一度甚至無法再站立彈電吉他），再看，的確像有那種要撐住的樣子，而感覺更酷了。

Heart of gold是什麼？金心？也有人翻成是「赤子之心」。
