很小的時候就在英文閱讀看過這篇文章，
只是印象沒有很深，
想想每次高中檢討英文閱讀都是耐著性子再聽老師說的，
會再次想到這首詩是在去年(還是前年)民進黨前主席林義雄退黨的時候所發表的公開信中，
爾後，
詩句中的最後一段話就留在我腦海中，
每每遇到決策時又會再浮現...

第一段：

末行之路

黃樹林裡分叉兩條路，
只可惜我不能都踏行。

極目眺望一條路的盡頭，看他隱沒在林從深處。

於是我選擇了另一條路，
一樣平直，也許更值得，
因為青草茵茵，還未被踩過，


第三段

若有過往人蹤，路的狀況會相差無幾。
那天早晨，兩條路都覆蓋在枯葉下，沒有踐踏的污痕；


第四段

啊，原先那條路留給另一天吧！
明知一條路會引出另一條路，
我懷疑我是否會回到原處。

第五段

在許多許多年以後，在某處，
我會輕輕嘆息說：
黃樹林裡分叉兩條路，而我----
選擇了較少人跡的一條，
使得一切多麼地不同。
