Forced landing after passenger’s miscarriage

An American woman called Sally had a miscarriage on board on Saturday and caused a United Airlines flight to have a forced landing at Beijing International Airport. She was pregnant for a few months and began to hemorrhage after she had flown for around two hours with her husband on the flight and they had traveled around China for two weeks and planned to catch a flight in Hong Kong for Chicago.

The Beijing International Airport received a request from the captain of the flight for a forced landing and the plane landed safely. Sally was taken to hospital and was safe after two hours of emergency treatment. She only needed to stay one night and left the Sino-Japanese Friendship Hospital the following day. The plane departed half an hour after Sally was taken off.
