[技巧] 開放水域游泳自由式「瞄準」目標的方法
在國內一般開放水域的游泳活動(非競賽性質)中,大部分參加者都是游蛙式,因為游蛙式通常有最佳的持續力:此外,因為蛙式抬頭換氣的緣故,總能藉由換氣時觀察自己是否偏離路線,也較易修正自己游泳的方向。
但就競賽性質的開放水域的游泳活動而言,參賽者則大都採用速度較快的捷式或一般所稱的自由式。側面換氣的自由式就不容易觀察自己是否偏離指定路線,因此需要這種「瞄準」目標的方法。
這影片所介紹的方法是適合在相對較為平靜的水面上游泳,如果波浪較大,就得要使用抬頭捷泳了。
有幾個要訣應先掌握:
1. 在岸上先找好目標物,最好是明顯的地標。
2. 頭抬得越高、越久水阻就越大,所以頭只需抬到剛好可以看到目標的高度即可。
3. 只需確認自己是否偏離路線,不需看得很詳細。

The technique introduced in this video is very useful in calm water. If the water turned out to be choppier or rough, then water polo stroke ( also known as "head-up crawl" which will be introduced later) might be needed for sighting.
"Sighting" is to look at the direction you swim to at a glance. There are always buoys on the surface of the water to mark the "lanes" for swimmers to swim. However, it's advised to take some landmark as a target for sighting.
"Sighting" is not to gaze or stare, it's more like taking a snap shot with your eyes to make you understand if you are in line or you need to adjust your direction. Since the longer you lift your head, the more drag you will cause. Therefore, it's always good to take a snap shot at the target, then "process", if you need to, the image when your head submerges.
In addition to not lifting your head for long, also not lift it high. The higher you lift your head, the more drag you will produce.
