Kamei Royale Japanese Restaurant

Female servers wear traditional Japanese kimonos.

Attentive and friendly service. Sushi and other standard

Japanese cuisine menu items. Second floor,

 right across from the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

The prices were higher but justfiable for the location

 as rent is not cheap on West Georgia.

The portions however were small.

The service I gave a solid as it was fast.

 Kamei Royale has been a fixture on Burrard street

for I don't know how long,

 it's a bit pricier than most Sushi joints,

but it's a nice and cozy place Downtown to go out

with family, friends or on a date.

Note that you can only get big tables by the windows.

There are many Tv screens above the bar.

Green tea for extra charge..

 The tuna belly sashimi we had was fresh

 but the chef needs to go easy on the daikon.

 Its a good place for lunch or dinner

but repeated business from me,

 nah cuz there's just too many

far better Japanese restaurants in the city.

You can definitely get better sushi elsewhere

but I am  very happy with the service here.

It's slmost annoying how often the check on you.

I say almost because I'm used to being ignored at sushi places

 so I'm not going to complain if they are a bit overzealous here.

I also love the look of the inside of the restaurant and

 the location is great,

 They have a great selection of food and the

menu is not confusing as it is in many

other sushi restaurants.

Over all, a good place to go for sushi with friends.
