Earls Restaurant.
Beginning with one Leroy Earl Fuller, there's been an Earl in the restaurant biz since way back in 1954. But the real earls' got started by Leroy 'Bus' Earl Fuller and his son Stanley Earl Fuller in 1982.
They began their adventure armed with only a box of wooden parrots, some green and white paint, and an insanely delicious, cracker of an idea: create an inviting space where everything good in life is made better. Throwing in helpings of casual comfort and a flirtatious sense of fun, they created a recipe for a drinking and dining experience that makes above-average eateries seem downright dreary.
Since Earls' humble beginnings as a laid back beer and burger joint, we have constantly evolved to stay ahead of the times - and in-time with your expectations and tastes. Over two decades and fifty-plus restaurants later, we're still obsessed with keeping your Earls experience fresh and fabulous, whether you visit us in Western Canada or Colorado, Ontario or Arizona.
We love Earl's On Top because we know what they do well - and that they do brilliantly - and we don't ask much of the service. If you pick something that isn't one of the chef's specialities, and you pick it on the wrong day, you'll probably avoid it like the plague in future.
I've been to this location several times, for martinis, for appies and for entrees.
I have to say, Earl's is the best out of the chain restaurants in its genre. I would say Earls, then Moxies, then Cactus. The others don't compare.
Earl's menu features burgers, soups, sandwiches, pastas, steaks, and vegetarian options.
Earl's On Top is a difficult one to rate with star ratings. For example, if you pick the right dish, it's one of the best on the Downtown peninsula (more on the ribs and chicken later); and if you don't, you'll quickly forget you ate it. As a fellow reviewer pointed out, if you go here when it's busy, the service will most likely be desperately amateurish; otherwise it'll be friendly and surprisingly knowledgeable, even with the delightfully short skirts.
At weekend, the lounge/bar area can get very noisy, but the dining area is still quiet and comfortable.
I counldn't finish by myself .It's too much for me.
