Blue fox cafe in Victoria!

This very popular breakfast spot has lived up to its reputation forgenerous portions of good food on several occasions. Getting a table onthe weekend is a challenge (breakfast out on Saturday or Sunday morningseems to be a Victoria tradition). A line-up is almost always present.Fortunately, the staff handle them very well and the customers areinvariably respectful of each other in that essentially Canadian way.In fact, the staff are a real asset: sunny and efficient.

Unfortunately,the room is small and poorly ventilated. The windows often fog up. Thetables are very close together and the staff have to tread carefullybetween them. This mars the overall experience. While the prices canseem high, the food meets the standard. A lower-priced standardbreakfast is available on weekdays, as are reservations.
