One of the largest and most prestigious wine competitions in the world just took place in France in March and Summerhill was included among the wineries entered from 39 countries around the world. The 2008 Chardonnay duMonde competition judges saw, or should we say tasted, 953 different wines, awarding Canada only 2 of the 60 Gold medals presented at this competition. Summerhill was awarded one of them for the 2006 Peace Chardonnay Icewine -this being BC’s ONLY Gold from this years CdM competition! In addition, Summerhill was also awarded a Bronze medal for the newly released 2005 Cipes Gabriel Chardonnay Cuvee Sparkling Wine.

Welcome to the Wineshop at Summerhill Pyramid Winery! Whether you are a seasoned professional or simply enjoy sipping a glass wine with friends, we welcome you with open arms and share in your enthusiasm for the spirit of wine, friends, and family.

We offer entertaining public tours at 12noon 2pm, 4pm and 6pm daily which consists of a 35 minute methode traditionelle sparkling wine making tour through the winery and a visit to the mystical pyramid wine cellar. To compliment your journey we offer a wine tasting presentation that is fun and educational.
