到頭來零九年過了大半我才搞懂Marina and the Diamonds的廬山面目：不是樂隊，是個half-Greek，half-Welsh的女生，芳名Marina Diamandis，愚以為Marina這十年難得一見的唱腔更像是half-Björk，half-Tori Amos。BBC的《Sound of 2010》把Ellie Goulding評為第一把Marina and the Diamonds評為第二，兩人我都欣賞但傾向對調一下名次。零九年Marina and the Diamonds把時間都花在錄音室，不焦不躁的雕琢音樂，這塊美玉《The Family Jewels》終在今年二月面世了。我一時真想不到哪個歌手拍了四個MV才推出首張專輯。
