這首傘兵繩上的血
是美軍空降部隊在二次世界大戰時傳唱的一首軍歌，
其中包括了著名的82空降師跟101空降師。
有趣的是這首歌跟一般的軍歌有很大的不同，
內容不但沒有什麼慷慨激昂的偉大事蹟，
也沒有什麼歌功頌德的名言錦句，
反而全在描寫一個菜鳥傘兵因為傘包故障結果摔個稀巴爛的過程，
歌詞內容相當有趣，
卻也反映了當時這群大無畏的傘兵部隊面對死亡的泰然，
當時的傘兵屬於新式兵種，
裝備和戰術都還在處在摸索的階段，
空降的地點往往都是最糟糕的地方，
死神也像個跟蹤狂似的跟著他們，
也唯有面對這一切的人，
才能若無其事的唱著這首歌吧！
