BMW 1-Series Coming to America
BMW will introduce the long awaited 1-Series in the Spring of 2008. It will come in 2 versions: 128i and 135i.
128i will be powered by a 3 liter 6 cylinder engine producing 230 HP. 135i will have the same twin turbo charged 3 liter 6 cylinder engine producing 300 HP.
BMW estimates the 135i will run 0-60 in 5.3 seconds. Top speed is governed at 155mph.

It looks to be about the same size as the E46 3-series. Ample room for the front seat passengers.
