TOYOTA Avalon LIMITED

As Toyota’s flagship sedan, Avalon has a very important mission: satisfy current Toyota loyalist, and prepare them for a Lexus future. On this respect, this new Avalon is truly succeeded in its mission.

This new, totally redesigned Avalon not only
increased its over all size, it also totally changed its look. The new design is sharp, but in a conservative way. HID headlight and LED taillight creating a modern feel. In the safety area, Avalon’s equipment list is more Lexus like than Toyota, including anti-lock braking system with electronic brake force distribution, vehicle stability control, and airbags all around the cabin.

Luxury features include air conditioned, leather lined front seats, DVD navigation system, voice recognition system, and laser guided cruise control. The rear seats are wide and comfortable, enough room for a 6-footer to comfortably cross his legs. If we remove the Toyota logo, most people will mistake it for
a high-end Lexus sedan.

The new 3.5-liter VVT-i V-6 engine produced 280 HP coupled with a new 5-speed automatic-transmission. It’s the strongest engine under Toyota’s passenger car line up. Its smooth and effortless acceleration is truly impressive. The ride is also quiet
and comfortable. The steering is on the light side, but we don’t think Avalon’s target customers will mind.

Most impressive part of this luxury, full size sedan is its fuel economy. For this 3600 lb, 280 HP sedan, Avalon still achieved an EPA certified 22/31 mpg. Better than many so called econo cars. The

prices starts from the base of $26,350 to top of the line limited $37,429.
