success

What is success? Is it wealth? Fame? Power? We tend to think of success as something unusual, something that requires special talents to achieve. The media make us to believe only a few people are successful, but I think ordinary people can also be successful although we may not hear about them. I think successful is attaining something you really want. Success begins with a clear goal, and attaining that goal requires ambition. Ambition is the energy that drives people to work hard, to learn more, and to seek opportunities to advance themselves. You can not lack either clear goal or ambition if you want successful. The other important thing that you can not lack is persistence. The people who success now may fail many times. Despite repeated failure, their persistence makes them keep trying until they succeed. Persistence is the ability to focus on a task despite interruptions, obstacles, and setback. Many teens and young adults may think to be somebody, but that may make them limit themselves, even inhibit their ambition. On the other hand, the peers may laugh at them, so they afraid to dream. As a result, many teens and young adults seems to quit trying. But if parents can encourage their children to take on challenges, praise them for trying, and comfort them if they fail, this way can minimize the children's setbacks from failure. Altogether, I agree Sir Winston Churchill said " Success is the ability to go from one failure to another failure with no loss of enthusiasm." and Charles Luckman described success is that old ABC----ability, break, and courage. I really approve of them.
