If you want to persuade a woman of something it should be done face to face, while men are just as likely to be swayed by an email.

如果你想說服女性某些事情，應該面對面地說，男性則比較可能被電子郵件左右。

These findings come from a study by American psychologists that suggests that the traditional idea of women as more relationship-focused and men as more task-focused is not simply stereotyping.

Rosanna Guadagno and Robert Cialdini, who are both social psychologists, asked single-sex pairs of students to discuss the merits of introducing a new exams system both in an online chatroom and face to face.
