Clerk：I apologize. We'll make you a new one.
店員：對不起。我們會幫您重新做1杯。
Customer：Okay. Thank you.

Clerk：Here's your hot milk tea. Sorry again about the mix-up.

身為店員，若因犯錯而造成顧客的不便或不悅，當然要趕快表示歉意。有時候也許您本身並無犯錯，但遇到無理取鬧的「奧客」時，還是得咬牙向顧客道歉。以下就為您介紹其它道歉時可用的英文說法：
．I’m sorry. 很抱歉∕對不起
．I’m really/terribly sorry. 我真的非常抱歉∕對不起
．Please accept my apologies. 請接受我的道歉
例：Customer：Hey, there is a dead cockroach in my drink!（顧客：喂，我的飲料裡有隻死蟑螂！）
Clerk：I'm terribly sorry. I'll get you another one immediately. （店員：我真的非常抱歉。我馬上換杯新的給您。）

字字珠璣
．milk n.牛奶& vt.擠牛奶
例：There is no use (in) crying over spilt milk.
=It is no use crying over spilt milk.
=It is useless to cry over spilt milk.（打翻牛奶，哭也沒用。喻：覆水難收──諺語）
＊spilt a.打翻的
例：Mr. Brown milks the cows on his farm every morning.（布朗先生每天早上都在他的農場上擠牛奶。）
．ask for... 要求……
例：The angry customer asked for a refund.（那位生氣的客人要求退錢。）
．mix-up n.（引起混亂的）錯誤
例：There was a mix-up with our reservation at the restaurant, so we can't get a table for six.（餐廳的訂位出了差錯，所以我們沒有6人桌可以坐。）
＊mix up... 弄混……，將……搞混
例：With so many girlfriends, John often mixes up their names.（約翰有很多女友，所以他經常搞錯她們的名字。）
mix 亦可表「使混合」之意，與介詞with並用，形成下列片語：
．mix A with B 混合A與B
例：It's impossible to mix oil with water.（要把油和水混合是不可能的。）
