春盡芳菲落

Spring comes to the end seen are all the fragrant flowers fallen

花田寂静金風路過

Flowers in quiet farms in thr golden breezes blowing past

秋心何處藏躲

Autumn ah where is your heart hidden

月娘天邊痴痴靜默

the Moon at edge of the sky like a stupid fool watching there speechless

何必自嚐情愛苦果

Why self suffered to taste in pain the bitter fruit of love

時光不待人暫留

Time and tide waits for no men who are transient

了却今生，人間短暫路過

Put an end to this life which is too short to stay a-passing

往事多磨

So tedious and tortuous are what's been gone in the past

事事如夢蕭索

All things are like a,dream rustling so bleak and chilly in desolateness

知是綠肥紅瘦

Being aware are the lush verdant greening and crimson reddening so thinning

多少心上秋

Many a broken heart is raising upon the autumnal season

少把明月看成愁

Few regard the bright moon as something saddened
