浮雲幾朵

Several clusters of clouds drifting past

細數前塵往事

Reiterating what’s bygone in the past

誰把情愛看透？

Who’s supposed to see through love thinking thoroughly about it?

花開花落

Flowers blooming flowers fallen

世事浮沉難捉摸

As the vicissitudes of ups and downs in life is so unpredictable or unfathomable

恩怨情仇幾時休？

when could gratitude love hatred and Enmity or hostility come to an end?

人間多磨

Most humans are torturous in the world leading a tedious difficult life

舊地重遊

Revisiting the old native town

昨是今非累心頭

Always feeling what we’re today was not what we were yesterday, thus making us disheartened

思悠悠 恨悠悠

Thinking of things long ago faraway, hating things distant

且付一江春水東流

Just throwing them into the river I’d spring waters to flow away all together

東流！東流！

Flowing eastward! Flowing eastward!

多情哪堪自尋愁

Being so sentimental as not to endure soul searching with sadness

皓月笑白首

The bright moon’s laughing at the white-headed

萬古江山依舊

Remaining the same are the ten thousand year old motherland

細數騷人英雄

Reviewing all the poets and heroes 多少風流？

How many of them are charming romantic and handsome ?

誰看

Who’s so sympathetic as to

佳人回眸雙淚流？

See the beauties shed tears down the cheeks when looking back?
