someone else from primary/college/uni/wherever else told me that she is getting married,
holy shit!! this kind of "my latest news" is freaking me out, its good but its scary!

it all started about 3 years ago when one of my best friends decided
he would like to get married at 21 and manage a farm with his dearly beloved sugar pie,
which was ok with me (it's not like i can run down the aisle and say stop is it? and besides he isnt my type. on second thought, he did have a lot of money---but thats another story)

but last year it was so way out of hand, i had to beg my best friend to tell her boyfriend to
not propose until this year because i heard way too much
"oh hi laura how are you? hey guess what! i am engaged/married/preganant" in 2005 it drove me absolutely bonkers
i want to feel happy for them instead of feel sorry for myself for yet to hear another happy
couple in making and as a consquence my poor little heart just cant take it
anymore that i will have to call it "lotta weddings and a funeral".

maybe i am jealous? why surely not, its just that when i see the word 'single' starts
vanishing from people's status quo i panic because i am only 26 (oh shit, i am 26!!!)
and i once vowed to never get married and no kids of my own will be allowed in my house.
but then i got a little flexible and shortened it to a "maybe" 32 and two kids(excluding dad)
can walk through the doors and make themselves a sandwich (and one for me of course).

well i guess its not all bad that people around me are wearing rings
on their left-hand-fourth-finger at least i get to see wedding pictures,
and even though some of them already managed to push a human out of
their stomach, its ok as long as their kids are nice to them~dont you mess around with my friends!

anyhow, amy is the latest one to bite the dust, and all the best amy
i expect a lot of pictures :)
