Actually, I did not suffer from jet lag at all. I felt refreshing after a good
night's sleep. Teresa's room was cozy and warm. Thank you, Teresa. : )
Good morning.
After Shu-Yi woke up, she took me to a bar for the brunch. In U.K.,
bars are not only the places to drink, party, or meet new people.
During the daytime, bars are just like common restaurants. Families,
friends, young and old couples went to bars for a meal and a drink.
The bar and the counter inside.
It's the menu. We ordered "Sunday club with a drink."
That's it. Half-chicken, potatoes, broccoli, and carrots.
The round bread is Yorkshire pudding: a food made from flour, eggs,
and milk, baked and eaten with meat in Britain.
The drink is Apple Cyder, a popular Britain beer.
We also went to a supermarket called "Sainsbury's."
It is the yogurt section.
Fish and chips! but it was frozen...
I have never seen this kind of mushroom in Taiwan. The large flat mushrooms
are often stuffed with meat and cooked.
The fruit sections. I like the big signs.
It was really interesting to visit a U.K. supermarket. You will learn many new words and see many new things!
