The built-in depth-adjustable impact shield fastens and protects your child at the age of 9 months up to 4 years. The impact shield works like an inflated airbag and prevents your child from suffering from cervical vertebra injuries. All the energy and forces that occur in the event of a frontal impact are distributed over the surface of the impact shield. Once your child has reached four years of age, you can simply remove the impact shield and fasten your child by using your car's own seatbelt.

The Cybex child safety seat Pallas S-Fix is to be attached to your car by using Isofix. The Isofix hooks are connected with the Isofix anchor points in your car - this way, more stability and safety are ensured. Furthermore, you can also attach the Pallas S-Fix to cars without Isofix.
