Love Before Sunrise / Love Before Sunset

Love Before Sunrise / Love Before Sunset

First of all, I have to admit that these two movies are not mainstream. Most of time is conversation and only one man and woman are talking nonstop. However, their witted and humorous conversation keeps inspiring the spectators and let them reminisce their past. Here are the conversations between Jesse and Celine:

1. Memory is a beautiful thing, if you don’t have to deal with the past.

2. Put your passion into action.

3. People have the relationship. They break up and forget, but I cannot keep moving on like this (without saying goodbye). They move on like they change the brand of cereals. I won’t forget anyone I had been with. You know everyone owns the specific quality. You cannot replace anyone but lost is lost. Each relationship when it ends which damages me so much, I am never fully recovered so that’s the reason why I very carefully get involved. Even getting lay, everyone is so special and that makes everything so detail and beautiful.

4. Now I feel happy to be alone better than next to the lover and sitting there lonely.

5. Reality and love is almost contradiction.

6. You know every man I had been with, they got married. They went out with me, broke up with me and got married with other. And latter they called me saying thank you for teaching them how to love and respect women. Oh my God, why wouldn’t they ask me to marry them? At least, I could say “No” to them.

7. What does that mean with a right man? It’s absurd. The concept the life will be complete only if you find a right person. It’s evil!

At the end, they confessed to each other. They had already given their heart at the first time they met. The second Celine promised to get off the train, the moment she decided to give everything to Jesse. Maybe it’s too romantic to modern people, but I firmly believe that is true. Somehow, maybe in the next second, the right guy at right time comes towards my way ^_^

Here are two snatches of the films:
